The newest finished piece of artwork, Lysianthus at Play is a 24X24 acrylic on linen. This a collaboration with another incredible artist from the UK. For a long time I had been attracted to certain floral photographs on black background that were playful, dramatic and created an awe in me again and again. Looking up the photographer I discovered they were all by the same person, Magda Indigo, a gifted photographer whose work is shown worldwide. I knew I had to contact her in the hopes that I would be permitted to paint her photographs. She has permitted me to paint one original of a selected number of her photographs of which this is the first.  It will go on display at Gallery 113 starting Tuesday March 5th.
